Acceptable Use Policy

MangaSendr is a tool for converting and delivering files to your Kindle. You bring the files; we do the conversion. This page describes what you can upload, what you can't, and what happens if someone abuses the service.

1. What you agree to when you upload

Every upload you make to MangaSendr is an implicit statement that you have the right to convert and deliver that file. By clicking "Send to Kindle" in the confirmation modal, you confirm that at least one of the following is true:

• You purchased the file from a legitimate source (publisher store, indie creator, Humble Bundle, etc.) and are converting your purchased copy for personal use.
• You scanned or created the file yourself from media you own.
• The file is in the public domain, is distributed under a license that permits redistribution, or has otherwise been made freely available by its rights-holder.
• You are the rights-holder, or you have explicit written permission from the rights-holder.

2. What you cannot upload

You may not use MangaSendr to convert or deliver any content that:

• You obtained from unauthorized distribution channels, including pirated scans, unofficial aggregator sites, or cracked/DRM-stripped files from platforms that prohibit such copying in their terms of service.
• Violates applicable copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property law.
• Depicts or promotes child sexual abuse material, or that is otherwise illegal to possess or distribute under applicable law.
• Is designed to harass, threaten, defame, or endanger any person or group.
• Contains malware, or is designed to interfere with the normal operation of our service or a recipient's device.

This list is not exhaustive. We may decline to process any upload at our sole discretion if we believe it violates this policy or applicable law.

3. How we handle uploads

MangaSendr does not host user content. Files you upload are stored temporarily to complete the conversion and delivery, then purged automatically within 24 hours of delivery (or within 1 hour if you abandon the upload before delivering). Only a small cover thumbnail and metadata (title, page count, conversion settings) are retained for your delivery history.

We do not inspect the content of files you upload, beyond what is technically necessary for conversion and delivery (image extraction, metadata detection, and Kindle-format packaging).

4. Abuse reports

If you believe someone is using MangaSendr to convert or deliver content in violation of this policy, please report it to contact@mangasendr.com. We review every report. If the content is copyrighted and you are the rights-holder, please follow the procedure on our DMCA page for a formal takedown.

5. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in any of the following, at our sole discretion:

• Deletion of the offending upload and any cached processing artifacts.
• A warning sent to the account holder with the specific behavior identified.
• Suspension of the account for a defined period.
• Permanent termination of the account without refund for repeat or severe violations, including users we determine to be repeat infringers of third-party copyrights.
• Reporting the conduct to law enforcement where required by applicable law.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on our updates page and in your dashboard. Continued use of the service after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
