By creating an account, accessing the MangaSendr web application ("Web App"), downloading or using the MangaSendr desktop application ("Desktop App"), or accessing any of our services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, our Acceptable Use Policy, and our DMCA Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
By checking the agreement checkbox during account registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and the policies above. This affirmative consent is a condition of account creation.
MangaSendr is a user-directed file conversion and delivery utility. You upload a file you already have (a comic archive, EPUB, PDF, or folder of images). We convert it to a Kindle-optimized format and deliver it by email to the Kindle device you have registered, or, in the Desktop App, transfer it to your Kindle over USB.
MangaSendr does not host, catalog, curate, recommend, or endorse any content. The Service does not operate as a publisher, distributor, content aggregator, or content hosting platform. Every file processed by the Service is supplied by the user who uploads it, and every delivery is initiated by an explicit user action.
Files you upload are stored temporarily to complete conversion and delivery, then purged automatically within 24 hours of delivery (or within 1 hour if you abandon the upload before delivering). See Section 5 below for more detail.
MangaSendr grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. A single subscription grants access to both the Web App and the Desktop App. This license is for the sole purpose of enabling you to use the Service as provided by MangaSendr, in the manner permitted by these Terms.

You retain all rights to the files you upload. By uploading a file to MangaSendr, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license solely for the purpose of performing the conversion and delivery you requested. This license ends when the stored file is purged.

Files you upload are stored on our infrastructure only for as long as is necessary to complete the conversion and delivery you requested. The default retention windows are:
After the retention window, the uploaded file is deleted by a scheduled purge job. We retain a small cover thumbnail and limited metadata (title, page count, conversion settings) for your delivery history.
You are solely responsible for the files you upload and for compliance with any laws, rules, or regulations applicable to those files, including but not limited to copyright law, intellectual property law, and the terms of service of any platform from which you obtained the file.
MangaSendr does not host, catalog, or distribute any manga, comic, book, or other copyrighted work. We do not condone, facilitate, or encourage the upload of content that infringes third-party rights. Our role is limited to performing the technical steps necessary to convert and deliver the specific file you uploaded, at your explicit request.
MangaSendr exercises no editorial control over, and has no prior knowledge of, the specific content a user chooses to upload. The Service does not create any principal-agent, publisher-distributor, or licensor-licensee relationship between MangaSendr and any rights-holder.
MangaSendr respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe a user has processed content through MangaSendr in a way that infringes your copyright, please see our DMCA Policy for how to file a takedown notice or counter-notification.
We maintain a repeat-infringer policy: accounts that are determined, in our sole discretion, to be used for systematic or repeated infringement of third-party copyrights may be terminated without notice and without refund.
The Software, including without limitation all copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and other intellectual property rights, is and shall remain the sole and exclusive property of MangaSendr. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your uploaded files to MangaSendr.
MangaSendr offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Monthly and Yearly). A subscription unlocks unlimited deliveries and full access to both the Web App and the Desktop App.
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. MangaSendr explicitly disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted, that any particular file format or e-reader model will be supported, or that deliveries will always be successful.
In no event shall MangaSendr be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever arising out of the use of or inability to use the Service. In no event shall MangaSendr's aggregate liability to you exceed the total amount you paid to MangaSendr for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MangaSendr and its creators, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:
The Service may integrate with third-party services (for example, Amazon Send-to-Kindle email delivery, Stripe for payments, Supabase for authentication, AWS SES for email transport). You acknowledge and agree that MangaSendr is not responsible for the availability, behavior, or terms of such third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by the applicable third party's own terms.
MangaSendr may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without prior notice, for conduct that MangaSendr believes, in its sole discretion, violates these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or any applicable law, or is harmful to other users or third parties, or is harmful to MangaSendr.
Without limiting the foregoing, accounts that are found to be used for systematic or repeated copyright infringement may be terminated immediately without notice or refund.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, and 14.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Where applicable, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the European Union shall apply.
In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting contact@mangasendr.com. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days, either party may pursue formal proceedings.
You agree that any claims relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved on an individual basis and shall not be brought as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect, either by email to the address associated with your account or by a notice in the Service. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
Continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
