MangaSendr ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by MangaSendr. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, and our associated application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide better services to all our users.

• Personal Information: Name, email address, payment information (processed by our payment providers).
• Kindle Email Addresses: The Kindle email address(es) you provide for the purpose of delivering content to your devices.
• Usage Data: Information about how you use our application, including features used, time spent, and error logs (telemetry) to help us improve stability.
• Device Information: We may collect information about the device you use to access the Software, including the hardware model, operating system and version, and unique device identifiers.
• URLs and Source Identifiers: When you use the External Sources feature, the URLs you provide are used to fetch content at your direction. We may store source identifiers (such as domain names) for functionality purposes but do not persistently log the full content of fetched pages.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain our Software;
• Process and deliver content to your Kindle device at your explicit request;
• Execute HTTP requests to user-provided URLs solely to fulfill user-initiated content delivery instructions;
• Improve, personalize, and expand our Software;
• Understand and analyze how you use our Software;
• Develop new products, services, features, and functionality;
• Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the website, and for marketing and promotional purposes (where you have opted in);
• Send you emails;
• Find and prevent fraud.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers. The third-party service providers we use include:

• Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions.
• Supabase: Authentication and database services.
• Resend: Transactional and marketing email delivery.
• Vercel: Hosting and analytics.

These providers only receive the minimum data necessary to perform their respective functions and are bound by their own privacy policies.

5. Third-Party Website Interactions

When you provide a URL through the External Sources feature, MangaSendr's servers make HTTP requests to that third-party website on your behalf in order to retrieve and process the requested content.

MangaSendr does not store the fetched page content beyond the duration needed to process and deliver it to your device. Content is processed in memory and is not retained on our servers.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party websites you direct MangaSendr to access. MangaSendr does not inject tracking scripts or cookies into third-party websites. Note that MangaSendr's servers may be identified by their IP address in the access logs of third-party websites.

6. Cookies and Analytics

MangaSendr uses the following technologies to maintain your session and improve the Service:

• Authentication Cookies: Session cookies managed by Supabase to keep you signed in.
• Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized usage data such as page views and performance metrics. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
• Local Storage: We use browser local storage to remember application preferences and onboarding state.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

7. Marketing Communications

During account registration, you may choose to opt in to receive product update emails from MangaSendr. These emails are delivered via Resend and may include new feature announcements, tips, and product news.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every email, or by contacting us at contact@mangasendr.com. Unsubscribing from marketing emails does not affect transactional emails related to your account (e.g., password resets, delivery confirmations).

We do not share your email address with third-party advertisers or marketing platforms.

8. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may also have the right to restrict processing, object to processing, and the right to data portability. 10. Local Data and Content Privacy

MangaSendr is primarily a local-first application. Your manga library, files, and reading progress are stored locally on your device.

MangaSendr servers never see, store, or process your personal manga files. We do not upload your personal files to our servers unless explicitly required for a feature you have initiated (e.g., sending to Kindle via email), in which case the file is processed in memory and never stored long-term on our infrastructure.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
