Changelog
New updates and improvements to MangaSendr.
The Unreliable Connection Fix
Deliveries no longer give up the moment a connection drops, and the app can now find updates even on networks where GitHub — where updates are normally hosted — isn't reachable.
Download the latest versionDeliveries Survive a Dropped Connection
A volume that lost its connection partway through uploading was marked failed and skipped. The app now retries a couple of times before giving up, so a brief hiccup on your network costs you a few seconds instead of the whole volume.
Updates Reach Restricted Networks
On networks that can't reach GitHub, the app could never find a new version — leaving it stuck on the release it was installed with. It now falls back to a second update source automatically. If this affected you, this is the last version you'll need to install by hand.
No More Phantom Crash Reports
A failed update check was being recorded as an app crash, even though nothing had crashed. Internal only — but it was hiding real problems behind noise.
The Batch Delivery Fix
Sending a stack of volumes at once now finishes the stack. Large batches could stop partway through with nothing in Delivery History to explain the rest — that's fixed, and along the way deliveries got faster and arrive in fewer pieces.
Download the latest versionBatches Finish
Selecting twenty volumes and hitting Send could deliver only the first few, with the rest disappearing without a trace. Every selected volume is now attempted, and anything that fails says so instead of going quiet.
Volumes Are Prepared On Your Own Computer
The app now converts each volume locally and sends the finished file, instead of uploading the original for the server to convert. A 220 MB volume goes out as 38 MB — roughly a fifth of the upload — so batches move faster and no longer overwhelm the delivery queue.
Fewer Parts Per Volume
Volumes were being split more finely than the email limit actually requires, so one volume could land on your Kindle as three separate files. The app now uses the real limit and splits only when it genuinely has to.
Interrupted Deliveries Are Visible
If a delivery is cut short on the server, it now shows up in Delivery History as failed rather than vanishing, so you can see what to send again.
The Library & Auto-Update Fix
The desktop app now makes a clean distinction between your scanned folders and the library of titles you follow — and Windows auto-update works again. If you installed the desktop app on Windows before v2.4.3, update once manually from the download page: older versions reject automatic updates.
Download the latest versionPick Titles to Follow
After scanning your manga folder, the dashboard now invites you to choose which titles to follow, instead of asking for a folder again. Hover any title in Local Files and hit "+ Library" to enable automatic updates and Kindle delivery in one click.
Windows Auto-Update Repaired
Windows builds were signed with a certificate Windows doesn't trust, so the updater silently rejected every new version. Fixed from v2.4.3 onward — earlier installs need a one-time manual reinstall from the download page (your library and settings are kept).
Folder Management Cleanup
Removing a watched folder now also removes the followed titles that came from it, watched folders are scanned automatically again, and Full Rescan & Repair runs in the background without freezing the app.
Device Wizard Fixes
The Add Device wizard no longer skips the device form, and the phantom "no Kindle configured" warning after adding a device is gone.
The Trial Update
Try everything before subscribing, without leaving the desktop app.
In-App Free Trial
Activation, onboarding and subscribing now happen fully inside the desktop app.
Fairer Converter Quota
Failed conversions no longer count against the free converter quota.
The Connected Desktop Update
